Rosemarie Ziedonis is an Associate Professor of Management at the University of Oregon's Lundquist College of Business and Research Director of the Lundquist Center for Entrepreneurship. Previously she served on the faculty at the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business and the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business, where she co-directed the Program for Law, Economics, and Technology. She earned her Ph.D. in Business and Public Policy from UC Berkeley’s Haas School of Business and undergraduate degree in economics from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill.
Professor Ziedonis's research examines the value and strategic use of intellectual property, as well as broader aspects of technology and innovation management. Her studies have been published in top academic journals, including the Journal of Financial Economics, Organization Science, Management Science, the Rand Journal of Economics, and the Strategic Management Journal. Her “patent paradox” study with Bronwyn Hall (Rand Journal, 2001) is an ISI Web of Science top-cited paper in the fields of Economics and Business.
