Indigenous data sovereignty is the right of a nation to govern the collection, ownership, and application of its own data. In this Innovation Policy Colloquium, Professor Stephanie Russo Carroll, University of Arizona, explores enhancing genomic research in the United States through the lens of indigenous data sovereignty. This colloquium focusses on studies that have been traditionally excluded, including critical race theory, political economy, and more.
