Evan Selinger is a Professor of Philosophy at Rochester Institute of Technology. He is also a Senior Fellow at the Future of Privacy Forum. Professor Selinger’s research primarily addresses ethical issues concerning technology, science, and the law.
Professor Selinger writes for popular magazines, newspapers, and blogs, including Wired, The Atlantic, Slate, Wall Street Journal, The Nation, The Guardian, Salon, CNN, Bloomberg Opinion, The BBC, The Christian Science Monitor, New Scientist, Aeon, Forbes, and Huffington Post. His latest books are Re-Engineering Humanity (co-authored with Brett Frischmann) and The Cambridge Companion to Consumer Privacy (co-edited with Jules Polonetsky and Omer Tene), both published by Cambridge University Press in the spring of 2018.
