Rosemarie Ziedonis is an Associate Professor of Strategy and Innovation and Academic Director for Entrepreneurship at the Questrom School of Business at Boston University. Her research examines the value and strategic use of intellectual property, as well as broader aspects of technology and innovation management.
Professor Ziedonis is an Associate Editor at Management Science, and a Research Associate at the National Bureau of Economic Research. Prior to joining Questrom, Professor Ziedonis served on the faculty at the University of Oregon, the Wharton School, and the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business, where she co-directed the Program for Law, Economics, and Technology. Her studies have been published in top academic journals, including the Journal of Financial Economics, Organization Science, Management Science, the Rand Journal of Economics, and the Strategic Management Journal. Her “patent paradox” study with Bronwyn Hall (Rand Journal, 2001) is an ISI Web of Science top-cited paper in the fields of Economics and Business.
