This webinar will discuss the impact of the Ninth Circuit hiQ v. LinkedIn decision, and forecast how the Supreme Court’s upcoming decision on Van Buren v. United States will impact the law. Topics include whether the hiQ decision and other cases that have followed are essentially a greenlight for the scraping of public-facing websites, and, how to differentiate between "information presumptively accessible to the general public" and information for which authorization is generally required.
