Event Details

Hosted by the Berkeley Center For Law & Technology

Professor Joel Reidenberg’s prescient article “Lex Informatica: The Formulation of Information Policy Rules Through Technology” argues that the set of rules for information flows imposed by technology and communication networks form a “Lex Informatica” that policymakers must understand. This symposium will honor the legacy of Professor Reidenberg’s insights and will explore ways in which Lex Informatica is working in the public interest and ways in which technology regulations could be improved.
