Copyright and Trademark and Intellectual Property

Event Details

From the Center for Technology, Innovation & Competition

Skeptics of the Copyright Alternative in Small-Claims Enforcement Act (CASE Act) fear that rather than resolving existing complications with online copyright infringement, the act will instead harm everyday users of the Internet. This panel of distinguished experts will discuss implications of the CASE Act as well as potential developments in copyright law, such as Senator Thom Tillis’s proposal of the Digital Copyright Act (DCA). TAP scholar R. Polk Wagner will moderate.
