The Toulouse School of Economics (TSE) and the Institut D’Economie Industrielle (IDEI) are issuing a call for original research papers to be presented at the eighth bi-annual conference on the Economics of Intellectual Property, Software and the Internet. The conference will be held at Toulouse University in Toulouse, France, on Thursday, January 8 and Friday, January 9, 2015.
This conference, organized by TAP scholar Jacques Cremer and Paul Seabright, will discuss recent academic contributions to the economics of Intellectual Property, and of the Software and Internet Industries, whether theoretical, econometric, experimental or policy oriented. Suggested topics for submitted papers include:

The effect of IT and of the Internet on economic organization

Intellectual property in digital goods

Access to information
Papers dealing with emerging policy issues are especially welcome.
