Omer Tene is a Senior Fellow at the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP), an Affiliate Scholar at the Stanford Center for Internet and Society, and a Senior Fellow at the Future of Privacy Forum. Mr. Tene is also a Partner with Goodwin Procter LLP. As a world-renowned privacy scholar, Mr. Tene has advised governments, international organizations, and private-sector businesses on various aspects of U.S., European, and Israeli privacy, data protection, and cybersecurity law.

Mr. Tene was appointed to the Arbitration Panel under the U.S.-EU Privacy Shield Agreement and was the Rapporteur for the 30-year review of the OECD Privacy Guidelines. His many publications have appeared in such journals as the Yale Journal of Law & Technology, Stanford Law Review Online, Ohio State Law Journal, Minnesota Journal of Law, Science & Technology, IEEE Security & Privacy, and International Data Privacy Law. He is co-editor with Jules Polonetsky and Evan Selinger of The Cambridge Handbook of Consumer Privacy.
